Travel In Style

Deciding what to wear while traveling can be tricky, Don’t let that intimidate you from looking stylish while on-the-go! Below our team of stylists broke down a few outfits to find the perfect airport attire for anytime, anywhere!

The Base
When picking an outfit to travel in, the most important piece of the equation is always comfort. No matter if you are flying for 3 hours or 12, comfort comes first! We recommend starting with basics, leggings and a t-shirt. The Butter Skinnies (here) by Commando are an absolute must! They have a raw edge hem and seriously, feel like butter! For a t-shirt, you can’t go wrong with a basic short sleeve by NSF (here) or for a long sleeve option, check out this ultra comfy striped one by Frank & Eileen (here). If you like a more put together look, but still prioritize comfort, then replace the leggings with a jogger style jean, or cargo. We just received these RtA Jean joggers (here) that add some serious style without sacrificing comfort!

Layering
Layering is key when traveling! Plane temperatures always vary and chances are the weather where you are landing won’t be the same as when you boarded. Once you have picked out your base, you can add more style and warmth with layers. For a more laid back look go with a sweatshirt, or keep it refined with a leather jacket or a long lined coat. Madeworn makes the softest tees and sweatshirts. Not to mention they are absolutely adorable and really take you out of that comfortable look and into a more stylish attire! Our newest sweatshirt (here) is the perfect weight to layer over a tee. For a leather option, you can never go wrong with this one from IRO. Made out of the softest leather, you won’t feel restricted. This gorgeous color (here) just dropped and we are obsessed! If you need something a little bit heavier, a long lined coat is our go-to. Incorporating a longer silhouette adds that effortless ready to go element to any outfit. Eileen Fisher has some of the best ones on the market right now. – Not to mention Eco friendly – These will make you look chic while keeping you toasty warm. Our favorite (here) adds texture and is easily paired with any color palette!
Shoes and Accessories
Your shoes while traveling should be comfortable and easy to take off, as we have all dealt with the hassle of the security line! A sneaker is quick, easy, and casual. These Zadig & Voltaire sneakers (here) are super comfortable and on trend.  If you need something that looks more professional, pair your outfit with these super sleek patent platforms (here). If you like to be extra cozy while flying, adding a scarf will do just that. Plus, it can double as a pillow or blanket without taking up the extra room. Keep it neutral to pair easily (here) or add a pop of color if your outfit is dominantly neutrals! (here)
